The guesthouse is very close to the heart of Brussels, in its most popular district, Elsene (Ixelles in French), well-known for its art nouveau architecture. With lots of character, culture and vitality, the area has benefited from a successful multicultural integration which is reflected in an excellent selection of good local restaurants, pubs, boutiques and cinemas. Also in the vicinity is the main shopping area of Brussels with many fashion boutiques from the famous avenue Toison d’Or and avenue Louise.
Nearby the guesthouse is the “Place St. Boniface”, a great source for restaurants, bistros, bars and pubs to fit all budgets and tastes within easy walking distance of the guesthouse.

by subway: the nearest underground station is “Porte de Namur”, a 10 minute walk from the guesthouse (line 2). It is directly connected to the South Station (Gare du Midi) where the Thalys (to Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne) and Eurostar (to London) stop.

by walking : 
- 5/10 minutes to the European Parliament (rue Wiertz) and to the European Commission (rue de la Loi);
- 15 minutes to the main Museums located in the district of Royal Park, near the district of “Sablon”, its antiquarians and Saturday and Sunday morning market (Place Sablon, rue Royale);
- 20 minutes to Brussels’ historical centre (Grand Place).
